These figures are based on a system running @ 98% efficiency 24hrs ( Clean filters / Seals etc.)
Small Fridge/Freezer:
200W x 24Hr/ 1000
= 4.8 Kwh/Day.
=144 Kwh/Month
=1752 Kwh/Year.
Large Fridge/Freezer:
700W x 24Hr/ 1000
= 16.8 Kwh/Day.
=504 Kwh/Month
=6132 Kwh/Year.
These figures are based on a system running @ 98% efficiency 12hrs ( Clean filters / Coils etc.)
Small Air conditioner:
3.5 kW x 12Hr/ 1000
= 42 Kwh/Day.
=1260 Kwh/Month
=15330 Kwh/Year.
Large Air conditioner:
10 kW x 12Hr/ 1000
= 120 Kwh/Day.
=3600 Kwh/Month
=43800 Kwh/Year.
As the figures above show one small fridge/freezer running efficiently will cost around (Guided cost of 18.9p/Kwh. as of 2022.) x 4.8 Kwh/Day = £0.9072p.
If the system isn’t running efficiently these costs can vary greatly per day usage.
Having your systems cleaned/maintained regularly will ensure that they aren’t costing you more than they should and the savings will increase if your unit is able to reach temperature quicker and maintain it for longer periods.
